Stephen J. Toope is the 12th President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of British Columbia (UBC), one of Canada's largest and most prestigious research universities.

This site is intended to provide university stakeholders with information about and access to the President's Office. The web site includes the mandate of the office as set forth in the Province of British Columbia's University Act, as well as a listing of past Presidents of the university. You can also view President Toope's curriculum vitae, as well as a brief biography.

President’s Town Hall Meetings

I want to welcome our community back to campus for what promises to be an exciting new term at UBC.
